This family had a nearly unusable back garden thanks to a large but diseased tree, an old brick patio with tree root upheaval, an advancing bamboo patch from the back neighbor, and a muddy play space. We started by installing a bamboo barrier, retaining wall, and fence to level the back slope, and then put in a new patio, arbor, shed, lawn, play set, and planting palette.
